As the well known proverb goes, one woman’s scraps is the same woman’s quilt pieces, and behold, an Improv Quilt was born.
There’s something really freeing and refreshing about improv quilting, getting your scraps bin and basically seeing what happens. It can be a bit daunting to start with, using just what’s in your scraps bin, you have to be willing to lose control a bit and trust in your instincts, but once things start to come together and beauty comes from chaos, it’s so rewarding.
